The Antimessiah will promote sin and unrighteousness on earth. 2Th 2:3 Don't let anyone deceive you in any way. For the Day will not come until after the Apostasy has come and the man who separates himself from Torah has been revealed, the one destined for doom.

The word "anti" in antimessiah (antichrist) does not man someone who is going to be openly anti (against) Messiah. That word "anti" in the original Bible language can actually mean "IN PLACE OF". So could the bible antichrist be someone who has actually put himself "in place of" Messiah
