Global Icon, Desi Heart: Deepika Padukone Stuns in Saree at BAFTA Awards

Deepika Padukone, the Indian actress, graced the BAFTA Awards where she presented the award for Best Film not in the English language to Jonathan Glazer for 'The Zone of Interest'.
She looked stunning in a silver sequined saree with a matching blouse by Sabyasachi.
The film 'The Zone of Interest' was competing with other films like “20 Days in Mariupol”, “Anatomy of a Fall”, “Past Lives”, and “Society of the Snow”.
This isn't the first time Deepika has appeared at an international award ceremony. Last year, she was at the Oscars, where she introduced the song ‘Nattu Nattu’ from the movie ‘RRR’.
‘The Zone of Interest’ is a UK-Polish historical drama about Auschwitz concentration camp, based on the 2014 novel by Martin Amis.
