Detroit police officer shot during ongoing barricaded gunman situations

A Detroit police officer was shot in the knee and two women have been killed during a barricaded situation on the city's east side. It happened around 10:00 p.m. Sunday on Lamont Street near 7 Mile and Mound Road. It is still going on as of 5 a.m. Monday. The officer was taken to the hospital. He's listed in stable condition. Police also tell 7 Action News that two women have been killed at the scene and another man was also injured. According to police, there are actually two barricaded gunman situations in separate houses next door to each other.
