He is best known for being a former member of Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, a band that was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015. He is also a recovery troubadour and keynote speaker who uses music and his personal story to inspire people struggling with addiction. He has released four solo albums, the latest being SOBERING TIMES in 2020.
