A Naples man was arrested for allegedly pulling out a knife at a group of people. It happened in the area of 28th Place SW in Naples, Friday. One of the victim's told deputies that she was driving two people to work, when she saw 45-year-old Robert Arnold standing in front of her car with his dogs. Whe the driver and passengers exited the vehicle to apologize for not seeing Arnold, he reportedly pulled a black, folding knife from his pocket and became verbally abusive, a CCSO report states. As a result, one of the passengers pulled his belt off and started swinging it to create space between him and Robert. The passenger was so frantic in his defense, his belt buckle hit the driver and second passenger, a CCSO report states. When deputies arrived to the scene they found the knife discarded in a nearby mailbox. Robert was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
