Join Naturopathic Consultant & Educator and IHN faculty member, Baljinder Chhoker as he takes the confusion out of choosing supplements—providing insightful and practical information on how to Enhance Recovery from Trauma, Sports Injuries and Arthritis with supplements, for use in your practice. In the talk, we will discuss:
- Exploring the pathology of different issues surrounding connective tissue issues resulting from trauma and sports injuries that will be seen in practice
- The causes of connective tissue problems, including statistics on its prevalence and the short and long term effects, indicating why you need to learn to treat it
- The use of supplementation from various brands, including Seroyal, Alpha Science, AOR, CanPrev, Dr. Reckeweg, and others, to correct these acute and chronic pathologies
- How to do a comparative of the products: why one would be a better choice than the other, for the same condition, including herbals, homeopathics, and nutraceuticals

Baljinder has been an educator and Naturopathic Consultant for the past 15+ years. He graduated from the University of Waterloo with a BSc in Hons Science and then continued on to complete a 4 year program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). Baljinder has been a Naturopathic Consultant in various forms, including being a faculty member at the CCNM (1997 to 2002). He is the Product Educator for Bio Lonreco Inc/Dr. Reckeweg Homeopathics. With Bio Lonreco Inc. he educates practitioners, such as Naturopaths, Chiropractors, Nutritionists and also retailers about the various supplements available through the company. Additionally, he teaches a series of talks and clinical webinars on homeopathic and nutraceutical protocols for practicing clinicians and students. Baljinder has been consulting in the retail sector for 12+ years and has accumulated extensive knowledge of all the various companies and supplements available on the market today. Baljinder has also taught Human Anatomy and Physiology and currently teaches the Continuing Education course Supplementation in Clinical Practice at The Institute of Holistic Nutrition.
