In a world increasingly filled with chaos, turmoil, and a great increase of sin, it's hard not to feel as if we are living in the end times.

End-time discussions often lead to the mentioning of the Rapture, an event where believers in Christ will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air. This concept is grounded in passages such as 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, which tells us, "For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord."

Similarly, 1 Corinthians 15:51-52 speaks of a transformation, saying, "Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."

These passages offer a glimpse into a moment of divine intervention, where believers are miraculously transformed and taken up to be with the Lord, thereby escaping the tribulation that is to come upon the world. Whether this event is seen as happening before, during, or after the tribulation, the essence of hope remains the same: a promise of deliverance and eternal unity with Christ.
