Raccoon dying from rabies

The raccoon lay curled in a small, secluded corner, its once lively eyes now dull and glazed over. Its fur, once sleek and vibrant, now appeared matted and unkempt, clumped together in patches. Foam bubbled at the corners of its mouth, a telltale sign of the rabies virus coursing through its veins. Its body trembled with violent spasms, each movement causing it obvious agony.

As the raccoon's breaths grew shallower and more labored, its movements became increasingly erratic, twitching and convulsing uncontrollably. The once-curious creature now seemed lost and tormented, trapped in a nightmare it could not escape. Despite its suffering, there was a haunting stillness in its eyes, a resignation to the inevitable fate that awaited it.
