***EXCLUSIVE TO RUMBLE***

In this video I discuss my experience with clandestine small business management, drastic business model redefinition estrategies and freelance gig work in context of the Swedish/Norwegian grey market. I also elaborate on the Labor Theory of Value vs The Subjective Theory of Value and argue that a young economist in his or her 20's must come up with a synthesis of both.

The grey market or dark market (not to be confused with "parallel market") is the informal trade of a nominally legal commodity (such as cleaning services, English tutoring or private courier), through distribution channels that are not authorized by the State. Examples of organized Grey market activity: clandestine legit currency exchange dealers ("Black Forex") or the supply of Spirits/Cigarettes to the underage market.

A large proportion of the e-commerce activity prevalent in the "Dark Web" (.onion) with bitcoin as medium of exchange mostly concerns Black/Red and not Grey market activity.

The Grey Market is NOT the same as the Black Market. There are two types of Black Market; the type that supplies scarcity and the type that supplies the forbidden. In Scandinavia there is no scarcity, so the black market supplies the forbidden: Drugs, Weapons, Illicit Pornography, fake-legit identity documents, etc

Clandestine trade in debit cards, contraband smartphones and contraband luxury watches is technically Grey Market because it involves nominally legal commodities.

The Black Market is mostly controlled by Red Market actors, but not always.

A Black market that supplies legal but scarce necessary goods such as meat (Soviet Union in the 1970s) can be said to be a lifeline for those who can pay.

In the SWENOR area (Sweden, Norway) the preferred Grey/Black market currency are the 20, 50, and 100 Euro cash notes.

My clandestine economic activity was restricted to the Grey Market, I never got myself involved in Black or Red Market ("organized crime") activity.

The most succesful historical example of Red Market activity was the Italian Cosa Nostra (Sicily) - until Mussolini shut them down. The most successful Red Market entrepreneur in modern history was Al Capone of the American "Italian Mafia"...

The "Pirates of Tortuga" in the Caribbean were a previous example of successful Red Market action. Amaro Pargo (Corsair who workerd for Spain) and Henry Morgan (Corsair who worked for the British) are two famous vucaneers.

Today we have the Somali pirates who operate off the Horn of Africa...
