The Far East. Vladivostok is the beautiful capital of Primorye

The magnificent Ussuri nature, the sea, architecture and of course the flagships of the Russian shipbuilding industry are one of the most exciting places in Russia.

The city was founded as an outpost, and the first settlers to the Muravyov-Amursky peninsula were landed by the ship "Mandzhur" in 1860. These were the Russian military, who had the mission to found the city. Over time, it was filled with civilians - first enterprising merchants, and then ordinary people.

The name "Vladivostok" was personally coined by the Governor-General of Eastern Siberia, Nikolai Nikolaevich Muravyov-Amursky. By analogy with Vladikavkaz, it means "to own the East."
