The Analog Vinyl Hour(s) - The Defiant, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters

Got a great show for you tonight starting with the debut record from The Defiant called "If we're really being serious". The Defiant is Pete Parada on drums (The Offspring), Greg Camp on guitar (Smash Mouth), Johnny Rioux on bass (Street Dogs), Joey La Rocca on guitar and keys (The Briggs), with Dicky Barrett front and center (The Mighty Mighty BossTones.) Together the five create a rock n roll pedigree that culminates into a riot of melodic punk.

Followed by RHCP's sixth studio album "One Hot Minute" A departure from the funk of Blood Sugar Sex Magik, One Hot Minute is characterized by heavy metal riffs and psychedelic rock influences, primarily due to the influence of Navarro, formerly of Jane's Addiction.

Then we will close the show tonight with one of the best albums to come out in the last 30 years. The second studio album by the Foo Fighters called "The Colour and The Shape". Primarily inspired by Grohl's divorce from photographer Jennifer Youngblood in 1996, The Colour and the Shape is more lyrically introspective and musically developed than the Foo Fighters' debut.
