Welcome to the FIRST BST Fishing Flathead Competition! Today, we're putting ourselves against the Port Stephens junior champion, Kaio, {aka Kakattack fishing on YouTube}, in a land-based flathead fishing contest.

We covered the area from Shoal Bay to Nelson Bay and had some exciting surprises, including impressive catches at Little Beach and a personal best fish at Shoal Bay. Fishing in Port Stephens, Nelson Bay, and Shoal Bay produces great fish, and we absolutely love land-based fishing, especially in Port Stephens.

We started the competition in Shoal Bay and eventually fished our way towards Nelson Bay, all within the Port Stephens area. We used a variety of lures, including Hardbodies, Deep Divers, Vibes, and Soft Plastics.
