Hard hitting and fast both annihilape carsd have a lot going for them in terms of damage but also carry their respective drawbacks. The regular annihilape makes for an extremely good revenge attacker but it's cursed with terrible hp that pokemon insists giving to regular pokemon. Annihilape ex doesn't have an hp problem but its main attack gives it a lot of self damage negating your high hp to take hits. Either way, while they can definitely work seperately I think for now they work best together.
