"INSAT-3DS Satellite Launch: Advancing Earth Observation Capabilities"
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is set to launch the INSAT-3DS meteorological satellite aboard the GSLV-F14 spacecraft on February 17 from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.
INSAT-3DS aims to enhance meteorological observations, monitor land and ocean surfaces, and improve weather forecasting and disaster warning.
It will complement existing INSAT-3D and INSAT-3DR satellites and serve various departments under the Ministry of Earth Sciences.
The satellite will provide data on cloud properties, rainfall, snow cover, and more.
The launch can be witnessed live at the Launch View Gallery or through ISRO's official platforms online.
