"Mumbai's Fiery Nightmare: 15 Homes Consumed by Inferno"

A significant fire erupted in Mumbai on Saturday (Feb 17), damaging approximately 15 shops and houses in Govandi's Baiganwadi area. The blaze started around 4 am local time, causing substantial damage to commercial units on the ground floor and houses on the first floor. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported thus far. Residents were seen using buckets of water to douse the flames as the fire engulfed various materials including electric wiring, household items, LPG cylinders, and furniture. Additionally, over 20 two-wheelers were also damaged. More than nine fire brigades rushed to the scene upon receiving the alert, with Mumbai Police and fire officials also in attendance to manage the situation.
