Two people face charges in relation to a North Fort Myers homicide case, but the mystery surrounding the death remains unsolved. Eric Duff was shot and killed on February 8, 2017 inside his North Fort Myers home off Guest Court. On Thursday, exactly one year after Eric's death, Lee County deputies arrested Martell Eugene Gray and Kaitlyn Belle Gillespie for tampering with evidence at the crime scene. Investigators believe the two were inside the residence during the homicide and subsequently removed items from the home and from Duff's pockets before calling 911. Investigators are still trying to determine who was responsible for Duff's death.
