Vintage "New Big 4" Horse-Drawn Mower Recovery Continues - Freed After 100 Years

I believe I heard it was in the "early 1900s" that this wonderful machine ended up in this spot, slowly sinking into the ground. Only minor amount of grassy-root soil near the front mechanism needs some trowel attention else I could have levered it completely up right then. Strong bets it would drag out if I had the Envoy at hand.
At any rate, a lot of lower iron now sees the light of day. Will give it a tug with some motorized horsepower. Then ... um ... back to the drawing board for a plan on getting it back up to the compound. 200 yards to access road then another ?? near quarter mile? Sledge? Just let it groove trenches?
