Tony Fritsch’s two field points accounted for the only points in a 6-0 victory. But the Steelers’ best days were behind them and they would finish 9-7, missing the playoffs. Still, the Oilers couldn’t take the division and they wound in Oakland for the wild-card game, losing 27-7 as the Raiders went on to win the Super Bowl.
