The full meeting of the Fairfield County Commissioners' weekly meeting for February 13, 2024.

The meeting began with a Listen & Learn from Nikki Drake of Fairfield County Soil and Water. Then a recognition for Lancaster-Fairfield Public Transit from Ohio Transit Risk Pool.

There was also an update on Floodplain Regulations from Regional Planning Commission with Holly Mattei, Saleh Safa and Joshua Hillberry.

Public Comments started at 36:05 and ran through 45:49. Ray Stemen of Lancaster, talked about the Ukraine aid package and the effects on all taxpayers along with the pushing of electric vehicles that is again a subsidy at taxpayer expense. Ray concluded his remarks with Christian prayer for the Commissioners and county government.

Judy Stemen of Lancaster, spoke on more COVID jab news relating to the side-effects and on-going dangers with them.

Sherry Pymer of Millersport (Walnut Township) shared information about a joint hearing between Ohio and Pennsylvania concerning solar. https://citizensforfairfields.org/

Before going to regular updates, there was discussion on the Buckeye Lake Mayoral re-call effort and how Fairfield County Board of Elections has been brought into the mix despite having very few voters within Fairfield County.

The remainder of the meeting were items related to the regular County Administrative Update(s) and the commission's "voting pattern".

Also, the Commissioners went into recess pending an afternoon session involving Sheriff Lape and renovations, but Rogue Media Reports was unable to view or record that proceeding.
