Unleashing Emotions: Why Should We Be Ashamed? l You Heard What I Said Podcast l Episode 25

According to the Oxford Dictionary, Emotions are a natural instinctive state of mind deriving from ones circumstances, mood, or relationships with others. So if emotions are a natural reaction for everyone, why is it frowned upon when Men tend to share them. Are men not allowed to have emotions? Are those emotions suppose to be less than what a women tends to express? This is what we’re discussing on today's episode of the You Heard What I Said Podcast.

Welcome back everyone and thank you for tuning in to another episode. When it comes to Men expressing their emotions, especially pertaining to their romantic relationships, is it okay for them to cry, or become sad or overly emotional? This question was posed on an Instagram post where a women asked if she should be concerned if her man shows more emotions than her. I don’t know about any of you all, but I want my man to open up and be vulnerable we with at all times. If I’m not a safe space for him to share himself, then we aren’t fully aligned and should not be in an relationship with each other. Tune in as Kion and I share our thoughts on the topic.
