Why is faith so important?

There are 5 basic reasons for faith. 1) You cannot be saved without faith (Romans 10:9-10, Ephesians 2:8).
2) You cannot walk the Christian walk without faith (2 Corinthians 5:7).
3) You cannot live for God without faith (Romans 1:16-17, Habakkuk 2:4).
4) You cannot get your prayers heard and answered without faith (Mark 11:22-24)
5) You cannot please God without faith (Hebrews 11:6).
