What a journey👇🏻

I have loved and lived my life fully.

I got hired as a yacht stewardess because of my attention to detail.
I got a job on a tropical beach in Samoa beach while reading a book.
I was offered a job as a tour guide because of my organizational skills.
I worked as an event (wedding) organizer because people liked how I treated them.
I had the best job testing challenges on a tropical beach because people loved my weird skill of putting puzzle pieces together.

And on the other side;
I didn’t get a job I was perfect for, because of my name.
I didn’t get a job as a flight attendant because I am 1 cm too short.
I didn’t get a job as a travel coordinator, because I hold ‘the wrong passport’.
I didn’t get a job because the recruiter told me I was not proud enough of my achievements.

So, @anjaonadventure is for me.

It is something that I always wanted. But never dared to go for it.
I was waiting for that 'perfect' moment, to start. To be ready. To have it all ready.

And nothing happened.

Time went by and there were opportunities missed.
We can get anything but we can not get back time.

I have lived and learned.
Things don’t always work out the way you want or plan.
So it is better to just go for it and see where it will take you.

So, put yourself out there and not shelter and hide.

Live your life to the fullest and live each day as if it is your last.
Be present in the moment. This account is all about that.
To show you that you can do it too.

I know that it won’t be without twists and turns and highs and lows.
Unexpected ups and surprising lows. But, here I am.

Excited and happy for the journey ahead.

Thank you for being here.

It is better to try and fail than to not try at all.
