Fatal Selfie Attempt: Rajasthan Man's Bold Move Ends in Tragic Lion Mauling
A man from Rajasthan, Prahlad Gujjar, tragically lost his life after jumping into a lion enclosure at Tirupati zoo, presumably to take a selfie with the lion.
Despite warnings from a caretaker, Gujjar climbed a 25-foot-tall fence and entered the unauthorized area.
The lion, named Dongalpur, fatally mauled Gujjar before authorities could intervene.
A police case has been filed, and Gujjar's post-mortem will determine if he was intoxicated.
The zoo, which houses three lions, has moved Dongalpur to a cage for observation.
