They outsourced the spying on 26 Trump contacts to FVYE (5 Eyes network) to make it technically legal, who then sent intel back, and that's how PapaD's conversations came back and were used to launch the Russia hoax. Obama's CIA sent the foreign intel to spy on PapaD in the first place. So it wasn't some conversation picked up randomly by allied foreign intel agencies and relayed back to US intel. Sundance at CTH and Shipwreckedcrew have explained this mechanism to death, now we know the Deep State under Obama used it against Trump, as we should have assumed. From here you can speculate, like many have, that the purpose of tapping Trump's contacts is to use the 2-hop FISA to surveil Trump himself and everyone around him. Now they're already doing this on other channels, but tying the surveillance to FISA warrants breaks it out of the silo so it can be admitted in court if they find anything. WHICH THEY DIDN"T.
