Dr. Tanaka Dune, Urogynecology – Weill Cornell Medicine
The doctors at Weill Cornell Medicine are among the best and the brightest in the country. Coming from many different backgrounds and walks of life, they each offer a unique perspective and set of skills as they work to treat our patients.
Dr. Tanaka Dune is the Assistant Professor in Urology and in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Weill Cornell Medicine. In addition to these important roles, Dr. Dune focuses on patient care for Urogynecology, also known as Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery.
In this video, Dr. Dune gives us some insight into her education and training, as well as a closer look at her many roles here with Weill Cornell and New York-Presbyterian. Over time, she has been lucky enough to work with many world-renowned surgeons and researchers, who have helped her develop her skills to become the surgeon that she is today. As a vital part of our team, she not only gets to pursue her passion for treating patients but also enjoys the opportunity to educate medical students and residents.
