A local barber and a former heavyweight boxing champion are combining their efforts to work with Indianapolis youth and in an effort to help curb the crime problem in the city. Jomo Cole is a barber and he also operates Circle City Gaming Center. He and Lamon Brewster, along with Paul Thomas are working to get the project off the ground. “We’re trying to utilize everything we can to save lives out here,” said Cole. “There are too many killings in the last month.” Boxing is just one of the things that Cole, Thomas and Brewster will be using to mentor youth in Indianapolis.
