Okay lets do this 10....visting a daughter ship outside our atmosphere

There is a reason it is a daughter ship. A mother-ship would seriously F%ck up our planet if it got too close. You think the movie Independence Day was totally fake, you would be sadly but innocently wrong. Granted Daughter ships do not land on Earth, but they sure as shit are near our atmosphere! No we cannot see them for a very good reason. They do not want us to see them. By the way, the term "blue beam" is really a joke....its old tech, and almost useless. But its a new HYPE term!
