Donald Trump's motion to dismiss his New York hush money case has been denied, with a date set for the first criminal trial of a former US president.
Trump is accused of falsifying his business records over money paid to former adult star Storm Daniels, by saying the payment was for legal fees in 2016.
The former president is now facing 34 counts of fraud under campaign finance laws, but has pleaded not guilty to all of them.
