This is Safety Harbor and home of the historic Espiritu Santo Springs, or "Springs of the Holy Spirit", many superstitions surround the 1539 efforts of Spanish explorer Hernando de Soto, who was supposedly searching for the mythical "Fountain of Youth". We know that Jesus actually provides eternal life to those who "drink of the water that He provides" John 7:38-39 " The one who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’” 39 But this He said in reference to the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified."
