Zanzibar is rather large and offers many things to do.
But at the same time is also small enough, that you can stay in one place and do day trips to all the main sites.

Wherever you are staying, those are the places you should visit;

1️⃣ The Rock
Famous seafood restaurant located on a rock in the middle of the Indian Ocean. You can walk to it during low tide but would have to get a boat during high tide.

2️⃣ Jambiani beach
Gorgeous beach in the South East of Zanzibar, great for kitesurfing.

3️⃣ Prison island
Island close to Stone town that became a quarantine station for yellow fever cases. On the island there is giant Aldabra tortoise sanctuary, who were brought from Seychelles.

4️⃣ Nungwi beach
For many the most beautiful beach in Zanzibar. You can find it on the North of Unguja island.

5️⃣ Stone town - Freddy Mercury museum
UNESCO world heritage site is a must visit when in Zanzibar. The history, churches, doors, museums …
