7-11 Shoplifter Thinks He Can Outrun Police

On March 13th, 2023. Officers were called to a local 7-11 due to a man who had been shoplifting. Officers spoke to the employee and she immediately knew who the suspect was. When the officer approached the suspect, he acted like he didn’t know anything and began to run. The suspect briefly escaped but was then apprehended by another officer who was in the area. Once in custody, officers realized that he was arrested just the day before and was released in the morning. This is the body-cam footage of the events.
