‘We’ve been constantly deceived regrading non-expansion of NATO’ - Putin

In an interview to Russian journalist Pavel Zarubin, Vladimir Putin commented on the reasons behind the special military operation. ‘The real trigger was complete denial of Kiev’s regime, to observe the Minsk agreements’, Putin said. ‘We are worried about Ukraine pulled into NATO’, Putin added, stressing that Russia has constantly been deceived in terms of alliance’s non-expansion.
