Everyone blames tourists but the thing is prices go up in all cities not just tourist ones. Big cities are having rising cost of living this is a global trend. Rising rent prices are because of GREEDY people not tourists. What tourist wants to pay this much? Ofc everyone wants lower prices, including tourists. The reason for this crisis are very greedy people that rent their homes in an AIRBNB at 3 times the rent prices looking for a quick profit and also owners who just up the rent with no limits because there is demand.
Btw this happens in not so tourist places where there is demand and a lack of apartments or if many people invested in real estate so either way they will not drop the prices.
There are A LOT of vacant homes but the prices wont go down.
