Introduction to Intercessions: The Stories of Our Time

Hello everyone! And welcome to Intercessions: The Stories of Our Time. I hope you enjoy these conversations with remarkable young people all over the world. I am looking so forward to speaking with them!

We live in a very unique time, I believe. On the one hand, technology is fostering interconnectedness in truly awe-inspiring ways that can optimize for those innovations which greatly alleviate human suffering. On the other, social media has emerged as the true opiate of the masses, and has hijacked our cognition in ways that are insidious and profoundly unserious. But there are young people who firmly rebuke the persuasions of self-indulgence and apathy, and who live lives of courage and conviction squarely above this din. This series is an attempt to give them a voice. I hope you enjoy these conversations as much as I do, and appreciate the brilliance of a bright mind and unencumbered conscience.
