This outing took place the 1st week of June. We caught smallmouth bass in the morning using active topwater techniques, but then the bite slowed and we decided to go sub-surface. A finesse football head jig with Cabin Creek Salty Spider Parts was just the ticket... and another little bait made an appearance as well...
