It is wild what this woman has been through. And, it is important to note at the very end Angela talks about the truth of victimhood, and how she is not a victim. Through the show, we discuss her growing up in a strict religion where at age seven she was confronted by the church believing that Satan's hooks were in her... then to having cancer, the Ebola virus, then (no kidding) a traumatic brain injury. Always having a strong faith in the Divine, Angela used that as a cushion and then a lightning bolt NDE (near-death experience) which led her to craniosacral therapy to her current process of becoming a death doula. It's amazing how it has all come full circle.
