24 years after his debut as Wolverine, Jackman will finally wear the X-Men member's costume from the comics in Deadpool 3. The movie is the perfect place for Jackman's Wolverine to appear with his bright-colored comic book suit. A key point behind why Jackman has not yet donned Wolverine's yellow and blue costume to this day is due to how the early Fox X-Men movies preferred a more realistic, grounded look for the team. Comic book costumes were cast aside in favor of black leather.

As the first MCU movie focused on a character that was originally in Fox's Marvel movies, Deadpool 3 breaks away from that. Marvel Studios is known for having characters wear their comic book-accurate costumes, with Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool having one of the best live-action superhero suits as well in his two movies. With the combination of Reynolds' view for the franchise and how the MCU operates, Jackman wearing Wolverine's costume from the comics in Deadpool 3 was really the only possible choice, especially as it might be Jackman's swan song as Wolverine.
