Hamas's leader sighted by Israel in Gaza tunnel

srael's Chief Military Spokesman Read Admiral Daniel Hagari on Tuesday (February 13) released security camera footage which he said showed Hamas leader in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar, passing through a tunnel in Khan Younis on Oct.10.

The CCTV video shows one man leading a woman, children and another man through a tunnel. Hagari identified the people in the video as Sinwar, his wife and children being led by Sinwar's brother.

Reuters was unable to independently verify the location, people showed in the video or date the video was shot.

Speaking to reporters in a televised briefing, Hagari didn't respond to questions on what the military knew of Sinwar's current whereabouts but he said that Israel was after Sinwar, "dead or alive".
