Kathleen Sgamma backs Rep. Pfluger’s bill protecting LNG industry

Western Energy Alliance President Kathleen Sgamma voices support for Representative August Pfluger’s (R-TX) bill that would eliminate the U.S. Department of Energy's role in authorizing export permits for liquified natural gas (LNG) and transfer authority to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. “Several members of Congress have come out against the president’s ban on new LNG export licenses so we’re hoping they vote for this bill on Friday,” says Sgamma.
