Mahou no Star Magical Emi was the 3rd installment in Studio Pierrot's 80's "Slice of Life" Magical Girl Series,taking place in the same Studio Pierrot Magical Girl Universe as Creamy Mami,Mahou no Fairy Pelsia and Mahou no Idol Pastel Yumi.

Mai Kazuki/Magical Emi was also Featured in a Crossover OVA Special along with Creamy Mami,Mahou Fairy Pelsia and Pastel Yumi Called "Magical Girl Club Quartet: Alien X from A Zone: which is a rather Bizzare Weird OVA Crossover which is totally worth watching,which before we had the Pretty Cure All Stars Crossover Movies,we had this OVA from the 80's.lol
