In this discussion, Pastor John MacArthur discusses the nature and purpose of the baptism of the Holy Spirit and how it is a one-time event, as shown on when Jesus' apostles were baptized by the Holy Spirit on Pentecost. Alternatively, the theology of the charismatic movement believes that is is a subsequent event that is displayed through signs, revelations and tongues, which is not an accurate explanation of what the Bible tells us.
God does not baptize you with the Holy Spirit multiple times, it is a one time event.
