UNRWA head: Calls to dismantle agency 'short-sighted'

The head of the United Nations agency UNRWA, Philippe Lazzarini, said on Tuesday (February 13) that calls to dismantle the agency were “short-sighted” and that terminating its mandate weakened the world's ability to respond to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
