Upper Peninsula University Unveils New Degree In Cybersecurity

Lake Superior State University (LSSU), in Sault Ste. Marie has announced the launch of its new Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity to begin on August 26th, 2024.
The new program will provide students with hands-on work in criminal justice, computer science, and computer networking while aiming to shield against cyberattacks, data recovery, and provide essential information crucial for the investigation and prosecution of cybercrime offenders.
The University plans to seek specialized accreditation through the Center of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity by the Department of Homeland Security and the National Security Agency.
