Man dies in fire trying to save roommate

A man living in a Kansas City, Kansas, home said one of his roommates ran into their burning house late Sunday night to rescue him, unaware that he was already safe outside the house. The man who ran into the home died in the fire. Battalion Chief Morris Letcher with the Kansas City Kansas Fire Department said the investigation into what caused the fire and exactly how the man died is in the early stages.
