The Rusty hand pruners are a type of plant-care scissors. They have the strength to prune trees and shrubs with stiff branches up to two centimeters thick.
Garden shears are essential equipment for every gardening endeavor. Garden shears, which resemble a pair of scissors in appearance, are used to prune and trim practically any flower or plant in the garden. The conventional garden shears have two serrated blades made of stainless steel.

The pruning shear was extremely rusty, First of all, I disassemble this flower pruning shears with a little squeeze of WD - 40.
so I used rust remover power and distilled water for 12 hours to remove the rust from antique pruning shears. then wire brushed all parts to remove the remaining rust.
after removal of rust with chemical lot of pitting away appears on the knife blades. so first I used a 180 grit grinding disc with help of an angle grinder to make the rough contour and remove the Pitting away from both blades, then I resharpened the edges on a big grinding stone wheel. I continue grinding with a Nylon fiber abrasive disc down the sides until no pitting was visible, I removed all casting marks from the handles using a fine metal file. After rough filing I used sandpaper up to 1000 grit for the extra finish, Now time to Polish both knife blades to mirror blank, I used two types of compounds first was ultra-cute, and the second compound is ultra-gloss.
I used to drill and sandpaper to remove the pitting from the secrew and then hardened and quench into the oil. After hobbling all parts I dipped both handles in IRON (III) CHLORIDE for 5 minutes. Now all that was left was to assemble everything and the shiny pruning shears were ready.
