Crawlspace Podcasters Tim and Lance - How Do True Crime Podcasts Help Solve Crime?

True Crime Podcasts are becoming hugely popular, and two of the best out there are Lance Reenstierna and Tim Pilleri of Crawlspace and Missing Maura Murray. They are experts at interviewing, uncovering details of a story and drilling down into what could have happened to a victim or case, and exploring possibilities in how it might be solved.

How does that help investigations, especially cold cases? Podcasters raise awareness. They are a new set of eyes. They broadcast details of a case that may bring additional resources or motivate witnesses to come forward and help the case. And although consummate professionals in educating their audiences, they also have a good time and make the podcasts entertaining and enlightening.
