This interview is with renowned homicide detective Cloyd Steiger, who served with the Seattle Police Department and the Washington State AGs Office.

Detectives, especially homicide detectives, see it all. Homicide victims can die from lashings, gunshots, rapes, stranglings, drownings, beheadings, and dismemberings, just to name a few, and the homicide detective has to factor in all the events, including the cause of death. That's why very few in society can handle the rigors of the job.
