Reddit Rant - New Republic Advocates The Abandonment of Journalistic Integrity

‘Right-wing’ media is so deeply in the thrall of Donald Trump, and their surging influence is such a clear and present danger to ‘our democracy’ that the editor for the The New Republic makes the case for the socially responsible leftist media to abandon their principles and re-elect Joe Biden at all costs.

To my mind, this sort of discourse is the rhetorical equivalent of tripe: rubbish of marginal nutritional value, useful only to feed a dog. Yet I think it important to analyze these sorts of pieces because a large chunk of the electorate reads this sort of article and agrees with it uncritically.
