Concerned Man Jumped Into A Frozen River To Save A Dog

This is the emotional moment when a man jumps into a frozen river to save a dog. Faith in humanity restored! Filmed on December 7, 2014 in Bogodukhovo village, Oryol region, Russia, footage shows a man, wearing only his underwear, going on a rescue mission to save a dog trapped in ice!

A dog got itself into serious trouble when it ran onto thin ice while walking on a frozen creek in Russia and fell through the icy waters.The owner reportedly let the dog off the leash while on a walk when the dog ventured onto the frozen creek. The thin ice quickly cracked causing the pooch to fall into the icy waters. The concerned owner immediately rushed to the spot and lent a helping hand.

Three men went hunting with their two dogs, but unfortunately one of the dogs, Caesar wandered on the frozen creek and accidently fell through the thin ice. One of the men rushed to the rescue while the others captured the entire thing on camera.

This footage shows the dramatic rescue mission set to save the dog from drowning. We can see one brave man sliding on the frozen creek towards the dog while holding a thick wooden stick. Moments later, the ice breaks and the man falls into the river as well. Nonetheless, he doesn’t give up on his mission and continues to swim towards the unfortunate pooch, breaking the ice in between with his bare hands.

As the man reaches the dog he grabs it and takes it to the shore. The poor pooch is all froze and can barely move. Another man is seen wrapping the wet dog into a warm towel in order to help him get warm! Fortunately, the dog didn’t suffer any severe injuries despite of being drenched and visibly weak.
