We know Jesus in His baptism

In fact, John says, ‘it would be more appropriate for you, Jesus, to baptize me‘. And he is right in a way, but Jesus overrules him, and He submits to baptism. John recognizes Jesus. He hasn’t had a formal introduction: ‘Hello Mr John the Baptist, this is Jesus Christ, welcome to you!‘ John knows Him by the Holy Spirit.
